Like so many other people, you are probably becoming aware of the health impacts of nutrition; good and bad. Proper diets and lifestyles can support great athletic achievements, a strong immune system, and healthy and long lives. The consequences of poor nutrition can lead us to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and innumerable other diseases which are preventable or treatable by healthy eating habits.
A fad diet, followed for a few months, will not permanently solve most situations. It is a lifestyle change that is necessary, supported by a healthy relationship with food. Just as a business needs to custom tailor its strategies for success, a person needs to individualize his or her own diet for personal health and strength.
Properly guided and equipped with the right information, everyone can achieve better health!
About Me
My interest in food stems from my youth, growing up on three different continents. The more the exposure, the more I appreciated the cultural differences. At an early age I had the chance to observe people's relationships with food. There was celiac disease and lactose intolerance in my family, and I came to understand the importance of how we choose to eat. Having children of my own also brought to light the challenges families face in providing healthy and efficient meals. The desire to perform well athletically has also fueled my interest in nutritional timing and precision. I have always enjoyed cooking and entertaining, and can now share this joy with you.
I hold a Nutrition Degree from the American Academy of Nutrition, and am a professional member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.
